PONTO FINAL conta a história de dois jovens negros de Santos numa tarde de outono, dentro de um ônibus coletivo. Porém, o roteiro vai além de um simples encontro casual. O clima de romance da trama serve como pano de fundo para a discussão da atuação do negro no cinema.
