O que vejo é uma tendência do setor televisivo em geral para uma abertura mais ousada, não necessariamente anti conservadora. O que podemos estar assistindo é um indício de que está acontecendo uma reforma nos setores conservadores buscando um novo posicionamento para se apoiar.

Nota-se que há uma preocupação maior nas produções para TV. Não só a Globo, mas a HBO, Televisa entre várias outras tem adicionado um pouco mais de ousadia para competir com a Internet e chamar a atenção do público, não necessariamente debater.

Por incrível que pareça o cinema que fazia esse papel até então, desde 2005 está se flexionando para um conservadorismo no meio artístico e para uma envergadura maior para a produção de “blockbusters“. Por isso nunca houve tantas continuações como agora.

A NETFLIX e a HBO têm sido as responsáveis por esse giro do posicionamento conservador. Com produções que destacaram um público que antes não aparecia, mas sem entrar em desgaste com o público em geral graças aos serviços de streaming. Com a decisão do que o espectador pode assistir ou não, essas produções via streaming tem apertado as gigantes do setor a mudar.

Embora de um modo mais próximo no trato às minorias ainda há erros um tanto grosseiros, mas pela primeira vez grupos marginalizados socialmente estão tendo uma mínima visibilidade. Entretanto acredito que essa visibilidade esteja acontecendo apenas porque é parte de um projeto de reforma, não de uma mudança de fato.
