A cidade de Salvador será cenário de dois grandes eventos de Juventude Negra entre os dias 3 e 5 de abril, data em que se celebra a Semana Santa. Morte e Ressureição, temas trazidos pela tradição cristã da ocasião, também serão elementos centrais no IV ENUNE (Encontro Nacional de Negras, Negros e Cotistas da UNE) e I Festival Nacional de Juventude e Cultura Negra. Ambos acontecerão na Universidade do Estado da Bahia, Campus I, no bairro do Cabula, e contarão com grandes nomes do Movimento Negro e da Arte Negra brasileira.
“O Brasil que queremos para a população negra” é o mote do IV ENUNE, cuja expectativa é reunir cerca de 500 estudantes negros e negras de todo o país, em três dias de amplo debate sobre Educação, empoderamento político, permanência na universidade e os desafios para a construção de um conhecimento antirracista. Entre as mesas, oficinas e grupos de discussão, a Roda Viva com o Douglas Belchior (do blog Negro Belchior de Carta Capital) e a participação da ex-ministra Luiza Bairros serão pontos altos do evento.
Em paralelo, o I Festival de Juventude e Cultura Negra, impulsionado pelo Coletivo Enegrecer em parceria com outras entidades do Movimento Negro e de Juventude, estará aglutinando artistas e interventores culturais de diversos estados brasileiros, em uma programação que discute e propõe novas formas de organização da Juventude Negra. Manifestações como o RAP, o Break, o Coco pernambucano, o Samba, o Grafite e o Funk, estarão circulando pelas áreas comuns externas da universidade, para além de intervenções dentro do próprio ENUNE.
Os dois encontros têm o objetivo de evidenciar o protagonismo que a juventude negra vem construindo Brasil adentro. Nas periferias, nos palcos alternativos, na universidade, nas redes sociais ou, simplesmente, nas ruas das grandes e pequenas cidades, os jovens negros produzem arte e cultura intermitentemente. Este segmento, entretanto, vem sofrendo a cada dia com as formas contemporâneas de racismo e também com as antigas formas, materializadas na violência que tira uma média de 82 vidas por dia.
Experimentar alternativas e construir sínteses a partir da contradição fundamental entre, literalmente, a morte e a permanente ressurreição destes e destas jovens através dos seus mecanismos criativos de resistência, é o grande desafio de ambos encontros.
As inscrições para os eventos estão sendo feitas de forma unificada, pelo site www.enune.com.br. Estudantes da UNEB poderão solicitar isenção através da seção “contato”, disponibilizada no menu do portal dos eventos. Também é possível acompanhar mais informações e notícias pela página da Diretoria de Combate ao Racismo da União Nacional dos e das Estudantes no Facebook (UNE – Combate ao Racismo).
